Elections officials from the Panhandle to Miami they are investigating whether a turn-out-the-vote campaign on behalf of the Republican Party led to an orchestrated effort to compromise voter registrations by submitting false forms.
And once again, Palm Beach County is at the center of an election fracas.
Susan Bucher, the county elections supervisor, sounded the first warning signal after finding 20 faulty voter registration forms filed on behalf of a vendor working for the Republicans. The company, Strategic Allied Consulting, reviewed its records and told Bucher it found 106 faulty forms.
